Speeches by Renowned Scholars
Professor Su Yanqing from Harbin Institute of Technology gave a presentation on hydrogenation melting of highly reactive alloy. Hydrogenation melting can realize the purpose of the removal of oxygen in highly reactive alloys. For titanium and titanium-aluminide compounds, hydrogenation melting will also refine the solidified structure, and even influence the solid-state phase transformation process of those alloys. For zirconium base amorphous alloy, hydrogenation melting will enhance the amorphous formation ability, and improve the plasticity of amorphous alloys.
