In October the major customers from Bühler China Die Casting gathered to celebrate the opening of the Die Casting Technology Center. At 10:18, the 1400-ton Bühler Carat die casting machine was officially put into use. 

Equipped with a Carat 140 and an Ecoline S Pro 53 cell, the Technology Center in Wuxi, is now a state-of-the-art facility. The investment in China is another important step for Bühler to reinforce its global and local presence and a commitment to the die casting industry across Asia. The Center is an extension of the Ecoline production facility which was opened in 2014. Today there are more than 400 Ecoline cells built and installed globally.

Located in Switzerland, China, India and the United States, Bühler Die Casting Technology Centers are available for all die casting customers worldwide. The centers provide training courses in a hands-on environment and allow to conduct parts tests, either to optimize an existing production or to optimize the design of a new part.
