Press release
As new energy vehicles and high-end manufacturing continue to advance, lightweighting has become a key development direction for the global die casting and nonferrous casting industry. With its low density, high specific strength and improving process maturity, magnesium alloys are accelerating their transition from emerging materials to scalable industrial applications, playing an increasingly important role in lightweight solutions.
Against this backdrop, CHINA DIECASTING & CHINA NONFERROUS 2026 will take place on July 15–17, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Halls N1–N4. Under the theme “Twin Engines: Al & Mg, A Lightweight Future,” the exhibition will present a full-spectrum view of the die casting and nonferrous casting value chain, with a continued focus on magnesium alloy casting technologies.
Magnesium Casting Across Processes and the Entire Value Chain
The 2025 edition of the exhibition attracted 585 exhibitors and 24,832 trade visitors from around the world. Magnesium-related exhibitors accounted for over one hundred companies, covering key process routes such as high-pressure die casting and semi-solid forming, as well as upstream materials, equipment, tooling and downstream casting manufacturers. Leading companies including LK, Waffer, KaShui, YIZUMI, EON, Baowu Magnesium, JSW, Haitian, Frech and Bole highlighted magnesium alloy solutions as one of the most discussed technical topics on site.
Dedicated Magnesium-Focused Programs in 2026
Building on this foundation, CHINA DIECASTING & CHINA NONFERROUS 2026 will further strengthen its magnesium-focused content, centered around Hall N4. Key features include:
-
A dedicated magnesium alloy casting zone showcasing representative castings, tooling and equipment;
-
An advanced magnesium casting chain area highlighting practical and application-oriented technologies;
-
Technical forums focusing on safety, corrosion resistance and industrial implementation;
-
Magnesium casting awards recognizing castings with strong engineering value and application potential;
-
Supply-demand matchmaking sessions connecting OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and casting manufacturers;
-
Guided tours led by industry experts, helping visitors efficiently engage with key magnesium solutions.
With its full-industry-chain coverage and increasing emphasis on lightweight materials such as magnesium, CHINA DIECASTING & CHINA NONFERROUS 2026 will continue to serve as a practical and professional platform for technical exchange and industry collaboration.
We look forward to welcoming you to Shanghai this July.
