CHINA DIECASTING CONGRESS 2026 Concludes with Perfect Success
When the applause in the congress hall echoes with the roar of machinery on the factory floor, and when the depth of theory perfectly blends with the warmth of practice, the 2026 China Die Casting Congress (Wuhan) reached its successful conclusion on March 27. If the first two days were about the collision of ideas and the analysis of trends, then today marks the critical closing of the loop — moving from "listening" to "seeing," from "theory" to "practice."
Main Technical Session:Al & Mg, Casting a Lighter Future
As a core part of the annual congress, technical exchange remained closely aligned with the theme — "Al & Mg, Casting a Lighter Future." Building on the discussions of the first two days, the final day continued to release cutting-edge industry signals, achieving a seamless closure of the technical sharing loop. On March 26, the Main Technical Session and various Sub Forums — including "Mega-Casting," "Low-Pressure/Squeeze/Rheocasting," and "Magnesium Alloy Casting" — held in-depth exchanges on core topics such as integrated die casting, low-pressure/squeeze/semi-solid processes, and more. These sessions pooled industry wisdom, addressed pain points in development, and presented attendees with a technical feast that offered both theoretical depth and practical value.
A Glance Back at the Exhibition Area: The Excitement Continues
On the final day, the exhibition area remained as popular as ever. Though the congress was drawing to a close, the appeal of featured brands and premium castings showed no sign of fading. Many attendees stopped to observe, engaged in in-depth exchanges, and captured the last set of wonderful moments.

“After listening to theory, step into the front line.”
On the afternoon of March 27, the organizing committee led over a hundred participants to visit local die-casting enterprises and university research institutions. On the production shop floor, attendees witnessed firsthand the impressive operation of a 10,000-ton die-casting island and engaged in face-to-face discussions with engineers, deeply integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience. In university laboratories, representatives closely observed core equipment for materials research, learned about the latest scientific achievements, explored innovation directions with research teams, and experienced how research supports industry development — achieving a closed-loop integration of “theory – practice – research.”
■ Dongfeng Electronic Technology Co.,Ltd. Wuhan Branch
The delegation visited Dongfeng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Wuhan Branch, touring the integrated die-casting workshop and the machining workshop on site. They observed the integrated die-casting product display area, the 10,000-ton and 16,000-ton mega die-casting production lines, the post-processing line, the machining line, and the assembly line. The two mega die-casting production lines primarily manufacture key automotive structural components such as integrated die-cast rear floors, front compartments, and battery trays.
As the core entity of Dongfeng Technology's integrated die-casting business, this branch is located at Yunfeng Avenue, Junshan Street, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone. It primarily serves various vehicle units of Dongfeng Motor while actively expanding into the regional market, continuously growing its business footprint by establishing a localized supply system.

■ Voyah Automotive Technology Co., Ltd.
Delegates toured the company's exhibition hall, final assembly line, connecting production line, and finished vehicle display area in succession. According to the introduction, VOYAH's logo is inspired by the concept of "a roc spreading its wings," and its vehicle models feature a grand and luxurious exterior design. The brand consistently upholds the philosophy that "safety is the ultimate luxury," deeply cultivating core technologies, adhering to independent innovation, building a robust system capability, and keeping key core technologies firmly in its own hands. Driven by continuous breakthroughs and steady development, VOYAH vehicles have gained popularity both in China and overseas, with Norway being the first overseas market it entered. Today, its business covers more than 40 countries and regions around the world.

■ Guangdong Hongtu Wuhan Die-casting Co.,Ltd.
Guangdong Hongtu Technology's wholly-owned subsidiary specializes in automotive and new energy die-casting components. The attending delegates toured the company's exhibition hall and the automated production lines of its CNC workshop. The company's products cover key components such as cylinder blocks, motor housings, and battery housings. On site, one could directly experience the craftsmanship excellence of Hongtu's premium castings, and the company's industry-leading smart workshop left a deep impression on the delegates.

■ State Key Laboratory of Materials Processingand Die & Mould Technology
The delegates visited the second-floor exhibition hall, the first-floor equipment exhibition hall, and the Additive Manufacturing Laboratory. This laboratory has long been at the forefront of material forming and die/mold technology, possessing unique technical advantages and research standing on a global scale. The tour gave the delegates a profound sense of the technological depth and innovative vitality of this national-level research platform.

CHINA DIECASTING & CHINA NONFERROUS expo 2026, will be held from July 15 to 17, 2026 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (Halls N1–N4). As Asia's largest specialized exhibition for die casting and nonferrous foundry, this edition, under the theme "Twin Engines: Al & Mg, A Lightweight Future," is expected to span 49,200 square meters, attract over 600 exhibitors, and welcome 28,000 professional visitors. Colleagues from around the world are warmly invited to visit and exchange insights.
The global die casting industry is undergoing several major transformations: the scaling and industrialization of large megacasting, breakthroughs in rheocasting technologies, and the expanding potential of die casting beyond new energy vehicles - into fields such as Two-Wheelers (Emerging Trend: Replacing Aluminum with Magnesium), humanoid robot, energy storage, photovoltaics, and aerospace. As a barometer of the Asian market, the event will showcase technological advancements, product applications, and integrated solutions across these three key tracks.
